Customers are advised to think big, start small, and scale rapidly. The targeted business outcome is evaluated and then the technology is deployed.
Technology is only part of the equation. People, capability, willingness, process simplification, and adopting a multidisciplinary approach are also required. Earlier, there was fear about data privacy, acceptance, and other concerns, but now companies have realized the benefits of seamless operations. Organizations cannot operate in silos. It is no longer an issue of IT/OT (information and operational technology) convergence. There is a lot more common ground, and “convergence” has evolved to “fusion.” This fusion helps companies become more productive, efficient, and facilitates remote operations.
