The acquisition adds to Belden’s portfolio of products designed to meet the
mission-critical network infrastructure needs of customers in both industrial and enterprise markets.
The combination of NetModule’s strengths in developing reliable, fast and secure wireless network infrastructure for mobile applications with Belden’s leadership position in the global ruggedized industrial networking market is designed to provide networking solutions that meet today’s requirements for network automation, public transport, and digitalization.
NetModule will be integrated into Belden’s Industrial Network Solutions (INS) business. INS is a global organization that includes the networking and connectivity brands of Hirschmann, ProSoft, macmon secure, OTN Systems, and Lumberg Automation.
